We are building a community of people that begin to know one another and know who their tribe is. So today I'm going to bring to you Lemon Price. She is an entrepreneur. She is a beautiful wife and mother, and she is going to tell you all about the things that God has her doing. She's making [00:02:00] big impact and I love people who are making big impact in the kingdom and they're reaching those who you may not reach, I may not have the ability to reach, but she has an audience with a vast variety of people and God is using her as a spokesperson for Jesus himself, the one and only the lover of our souls. And she is a lover of all things, Jesus. So I'm going to welcome her right now to the stage.

Lemon Price: Hey, hello, I'm so excited to be here with you.

Marlena Hollis: I am. I love you. You know this already. We made fast friends. It was like there was a connection in the spirit. So I'm excited that you're here.

Lemon Price: I'm excited. Yeah. Y'all just wait till you hear the episode. I did Marlena too. She's great. She's just amazing.

Marlena Hollis: Listen, I was honored to be asked to come on your podcast because I'm going to ask you to, I'm not going to ask you to be braggadocious, but I am going to ask you to tell us how God has used your podcast. Tell us about your podcast because I want you guys to go and subscribe to it. [00:03:00]

Lemon Price: Oh my gosh. Thank you. So it's called Milk and Honey with Lemon, which God and I, we argued about that too. We argued about the podcast. I actually didn't want to start a podcast. That was a total God thing.

And I love it. I just, I talk to women all the time. I actually just had my second male guest ever on that comes out. It's crazy, but I just talked to women about stepping into the leadership and the purpose that God has for them. Which I feel like tends to make some women a little uncomfortable. Cause they're like, what do you mean you want me to lead?

I want you to lead in all capacity, lead in your, the sphere of influence that you have, lead in your community, lead wherever God has you, and lead your children. There's so many things that you could do. And , God used that in such a big way. It's crazy what happened. I have wanted to be in Forbes for a very long time since I got into the business world back in 2011, which makes me sound very old when I say that, but it never, I was doing like really great work with other businesses I've had and nothing wasn't even on the [00:04:00] radar.

And then I do this podcast that I argue with God about. And lo and behold, before we hit, when we were at month 11, it was featured in Forbes and I got to talk about God in Forbes, which was incredible. And then it came out. We did another feature in February within what is that? Oh my gosh. Only 14 months of the podcast being out.

We got to talk about Jesus in Forbes. So, wow. It's wild.

Marlena Hollis: Listen, that's incredible. You guys, if you know how big of a deal that is, I want you to just put in the comments, just, that's a big deal talking about Jesus in Forbes, it was magazine, right? And of course, we know now that the magazine isn't just in print, it's digital.

If you Google Lemon Price and Lemon and Honey. You're going to find that pop up. I'm telling you, I see Mikki's that it's a big deal. She knows when you say Forbes, it's like, Oh my gosh, because it is, but that's what God's doing in our lives. He's allowing us to sit at tables and be at [00:05:00] places because when we sit there, we bring him first.

And that's what you do. And I've seen that in everything that Lemon does. I'm telling you guys, she is bringing Jesus forefront to the table. She doesn't go if he's not there and he doesn't go anywhere that she isn't willing. So I'm telling you, that's a big deal. So that, yeah, that's awesome. And so I guys listen, I'm just going to be excited because I got to be on her podcast and I feel really just honored to have that seat and we had a great conversation. I feel like the spirit just moves when we get together between us and that's how it's supposed to be. So tell us where you're calling in from or where you're videoing in from today.

Lemon Price: So I'm right outside of Savannah.

It's definitely a little crazy behind me. We accidentally bought a house two weeks ago, so I have been packing like crazy. I love your face. You're like, what? Yes.

Marlena Hollis: You accidentally.

Lemon Price: Very unintentional. We didn't mean to. And now we closed in two weeks. We did a less than 30 day close. So, it's been [00:06:00] crazy. I'm only moving 15 minutes away from here, but yeah, we're just outside of Savannah or Hurricane Debbie just hit. And you can take a boat everywhere in whatever street you want to go down. You can take it by boat right now.

Marlena Hollis: Okay. So that sounds like God right there. And you just said you accidentally bought a house. It's in the middle of hurricane season. Yeah. That sounds about like God.

Lemon Price: Oh, the world's falling apart around you, just to go to the home inspection I had to drive like an extra 20 minutes out of my way because so many of our roads are closed.

Marlena Hollis: Wow.

Lemon Price: Chaos all around me. And God's like, here's a little piece of sanctuary and peace for you.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah, man, that is so good. And isn't that just what he does? He gives us that piece that passes understanding and that's when you know that he's in the middle of it, because even if it's the outward atmosphere looks one way on the inside, you just have that all still knowing that he's right there saying, go. He's like leading and directing that.

Lemon Price: Yeah, it's wild how fast [00:07:00] the whole process has been, even there's always like conditions when you get a pre approval and stuff like that. And so, in my fleshly world, I'm like having nightmares that there's like some secret debt or something we don't know about that they found.

And they're like, you have to pay a hundred thousand dollars in two days to close on this house. Like very irrational. And the lender called me yesterday and she's, okay, I want to go over the condition. She's, I just want to confirm your husband's a junior and not a senior. And I said, yes, he's a junior, not a senior.

And she's, okay, so he doesn't own a home in Texas. I'm like, okay. Nope, that's his dad's and she goes, okay, great. Those were your only conditions. Have a great day. Okay. Okay. Thank you so much. Like this could only be God. This is the, that could only be God. I have a friend in real estate. She's, I've never heard of that being the only condition to you closing on a home. Yeah, I know only God.

Marlena Hollis: That's awesome. I just bless you in that it's nothing like buying your own home. We're grateful when we in every season, cause I know that you've had home [00:08:00] before like myself and you're in this rental space. And I said, it was my holding space. We had, we did that for about a year and we were on the water.

And I said, I'm just grateful that God gave us a room with a view while we were in waiting to see what our next was. So how did you manage to get to Savannah, Georgia, but yet you really do a lot of big things. You're coming in here very much like Lemon does just so calm, just humble person, just loving Jesus.

You're being very modest, but you truthfully do a lot of big things. So in the middle of really your home, I mean, talking about the podcast, but you do other things as well. So share with us a little bit about what that looks like.

Lemon Price: Yeah, so I speak, I actually have my first book coming out in October. Which is wild and yes, I'm speaking at conferences all around for serving the community and there's a lot happening, certifying speakers, coaches, helping people write their books.

There's a lot [00:09:00] happening here, but all of it with a kingdom focus, which is really exciting to me. I love seeing just what people are doing when they're kingdom minded. So I just talked to somebody a few weeks ago and she came to me because she wanted help starting maternity homes here in South Georgia.

And she's I just know you're the person. God told me you're the person to help me. And as she's telling me, I'm like, okay, I can connect you with this person, this person, this person. She's, oh, I was just iterating an idea. I was ill prepared for you to tell me that you have all of these connections with exactly what I need to get me going.

It's really cool. I really feel privileged that this is what I do full time, that I get to just help people make impact in their community. It's mind blowing to me.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah, for sure. So I know, I've talked about mentorship and of course I do mentorship and you're a part of a big mentorship group and even I will call it a network because it's so vast and large.

What is the power of mentorship do you think as far as with women and men and just the impact that mentorship makes on the spiritual life of a believer? [00:10:00]

Lemon Price: Ooh, I love this question. I would not be where I am without it. I. And I think when I think about mentorship, too, I want somebody who's going to push me a little bit, who's going to tell me a hard truth that I don't necessarily want to hear.

And so it's, I don't know, it's life changing for me. I know two years ago, I found like somebody who was really a solid mentor to me. And within a couple of weeks, there was something I was struggling with for 30 years. And within one conversation, it was like the Lord just lifted this thing off of me and I can talk about it now freely and it doesn't impact my life anymore.

I don't feel the same way about it. And I'm like, that's mentorship. That's real discipleship. And I think it pushes you to just be the person that God's called you to be. And he's created you to be. I just had this conversation actually with my 12 year old last night on our way home from students. He was like, mom, I think it's really important to stay in a growth mindset and continue to grow and learn.

And I was like, yes, it is. It is so important. It's like, God's not done with your growth until you stop breathing. [00:11:00] So I just, I love good mentorship that is going to push you outside of your comfort zone. I think is invaluable to me personally.

Marlena Hollis: That bears repeating. You said, God's not done with your growth until you're done breathing.

That's so good. And even limit, I'll go further than that. That I believe that even if you stunt your growth here on this earth, I believe that whenever you go into heaven, which ultimately there's a new heaven and a new earth, and there's a whole new governmental system of the kingdom of heaven is coming here one day as believers.

We trust God in that. And I believe that there's going to be leaders in those spaces, the word tells us, and I believe there's even going to be room for spiritual growth within the heavenly realm. So I believe it's just in us, to learn, to grow. And that's why the word says we, we move and we have our being in him.

He grew in the grace and truth. He grew with stature before God and men, [00:12:00] the word says. And so we have the same, what is the word I'm looking for? We have the same mandate. That's what we do. It's a privilege and an honor. And to be able to hook up with people that can move us forward and can help us move our needles, I guess you could say it in our world, we talk like that in the coaching and in mentorship world, we want to move the needle.

We want to go from the A to the B, but I need someone to help me to even sometimes see the B, to see what that next piece looks like. And I love that we get to have that in our lives. And just because we may lead, we still have people that are leading us.

Lemon Price: Yes. And I love what you said because now I just had this little like epiphany, right?

So Jesus talks about the parable of the talents, right? Or the parable of the minas being like a summation basically of the entire kingdom of God. And so I love that you're like, there's going to be new leadership and in this new governmental order and in that parable as the [00:13:00] servant gives or the master gives the servant these five or ten or whatever it is, and then they go and invest and they multiply it and, steward it well. And then he's okay, you get to rule over ten cities, you get to rule over five cities, but the one who doesn't, the one who has a hole digging spirit, he takes it from him.

Marlena Hollis: The one

Lemon Price: who stunts their growth.

Marlena Hollis: A hole digging spirit. Oh my gosh.

Lemon Price: I love that one. I'm like, I'm going to put it in my office, like do not have a hole digging spirit, right? The one who stunts their growth, who takes what they've been given and they hide it, he's going to take it from them and give it to the one who did the most with it.

Marlena Hollis: Wow. That is so good. That just so just hit me so big.

I need you to just let the Lord speak to you right now and speak out of you concerning what does that mean? When you say a hole digging spirit, please do tell us what this means. That is so good.

Lemon Price: Yeah, that I think is the thing that struck me the most in that parable. He gives the one servant and what I think is cool too, so it's his trusted [00:14:00] servant that he gives these talents to these minas to, and the one that he trusted, and he only gave him one, he went and he hid it instead. Buried it in the backyard, did whatever he did. And how often do we do that to ourselves?

God's given us this talent. He's given us this gift. He's given us this mission, this calling, whatever it is, or we feel like we're called to serve a certain group of people and we hide it because we're afraid of what other people are going to say. Is Sally down the street going to make fun of me? Who cares? I just, I am like, I'm so over people caring what other people are going to say.

I've had so many people make fun of me for what I'm doing. So many people made fun of me. And if I would have internalized that and taken this hole digging spirit, taking what God has given me and hid it. I wouldn't be talking about Jesus in Forbes. Wow. Wouldn't be doing any of it.

Marlena Hollis: Man. Yeah. You maximized what the potential was automatically deposited inside of you.

Lemon Price: [00:15:00] Yeah. And I had no idea it would turn out like this, right? There was no, I was just so obedient. And I think that's the thing. That's, I think, the opposite of a hole digging spirit is to be obedient and to steward what you've been given well. And before this, we were talking about surrender and stuff, and it's trusting God regardless of the outcome.

I have no idea what the outcome is going to be. I'm just going to trust that you know what the outcome is going to be better than I do. And so who am I to say, Oh, no, I won't do that because I'm afraid, or I don't want to lose whatever it is. Job is like my husband's favorite story in the Bible, and he's like, Job lost everything, and then he got it back tenfold.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah.

Lemon Price: And so, he's, even if I lose it all, he's, I know God is good.

Marlena Hollis: Mm. That's so good. I just embraced that mentality a long time ago too, because if you've experienced financial issues and you've seen the bounce back from that, somehow or another, you just realize, wow, you know what, the risk is just still worth it.

Like I've lived in the place where [00:16:00] I was in lack and I survived, like I'm still here and I grew in those spaces too. Now, do I want to create or make the same mistakes? Absolutely not. I want to learn and grow from it. But I'm not going to quit taking a risk because risk is faith. Faith is risk. And without faith, it's impossible to please God.

And in that parable that he did not please the master because it was the lack of faith that kept him digging the hole. But here's the thing, you know, I'll flip the script on that, is he actually did have faith. He had faith is in his inability to produce. Yeah. Instead of having faith. In the God in the master who entrusted him.

And see, it's where are we putting our faith? Because I believe that the same God who deposited the Holy Spirit, divine deposit inside of this earthen vessel did in Lemon and what Lemon's may look like may not [00:17:00] look like mine. We may have some that are similar, but I love the fact that what's deposited inside of her is being brought out, and what's inside of me, how dare I go and dig a hole and not let God do what he wants to in my life and do what he had intended all along for me to do in this life for his glory.

Lemon Price: And I, okay. So I love that you said that now I feel like we have a whole conversation on this.

Marlena Hollis: A whole conversation.

Lemon Price: But I loved, you said he had faith and he had faith in who he perceived his master to be. Because remember, he says, I know you're a hard man. You reap where you do not sow. And all these things. So he's okay. I have this perception of you and who you are and what the outcome is going to be. And so therefore, I'm going to take it upon myself to go and hide what you've given me.

And then the master says, you wicked and lazy servant. That scares me so much. Like the worst thing for me, I think, is to stand before the Lord and him to look at me and say, you wicked and lazy servant, I gave you these [00:18:00] gifts and you did nothing with them. Look at all the people you could have impacted if you would have just trusted me and you got out of the way of your ego.

I let somebody said to me, ego is just edging God out. I was like, Ooh, I was like, yeah, I remove it or take it from me. So that way I can stand before you and he look at me and say, well done, good and faithful servant. Wow. Take in what I've given you and you multiply. That's the first commandment in the Bible is to be fruitful and to multiply.

And I don't think it just means with children, right? It's with everything he's given us. Work was always part of the equation. We were always supposed to work at what we had. I feel like people all the time are like, Oh, hard work is a result of the fall. No, it's not. No, it's not. I feel like they were told before the fall that they were going to have to steward that garden and so into it and take dominion and all of those things. And I was always supposed to work at what I've been given and multiply it.

Marlena Hollis: That's so good. That also bears repeating. That yeah, [00:19:00] work is absolutely not part of the sin fall response. It's not, that wasn't a part of the damnation that came when Adam and Eve were kicked out of the garden, what happened is it became harder because they then had to do it on their own because they did not trust who God said they were.

That attack was on their identity. It was on their who, so that they could never go into their do. And their do got misconstrued, I sound like Dr. Seuss all of a sudden, they focused on what the lie was versus who God had already stated. He already said that you are like me. Make man in my image. He already had given them that authority.

He already gave them the abilities. And so when we discount the abilities that are inside of us, or we think we're not good enough, or we aren't worthy, or we can't, and we get an, I can't mentality, and we adopt that instead of the, I can do all [00:20:00] things through Christ and his ability that he already deposited inside of me.

Then that's when we will dig those holes and we will crawl in them, not only with our seed, but we crawl in them. And I see people doing that. I see people they're, they just always are on the starting blocks. And they never go and the sound off has been given a long time ago. And let's talk about the sound off because I think the sound off looks like a word.

I think it looks like today, I think someone's on a starting block and I'm going to speak this as a prophetic utterance right now, I believe that someone feels they're on the starting blocks. They know that the race is something that they're inclined to be able to win. But when the sound goes off and today's word is a sound off for you, that saying go, it's saying, do it, it's saying start now, and that's the sound off for you to start taking off running.

So I, I believe that's a word for someone that if you've been waiting on a [00:21:00] sign, the Holy Spirit is your sign and he's deposited the ability inside of you. God has equipped us for every good work. It's already been given to you. So that's your sign for today. Go, go. What you got, Lemon?

Lemon Price: I love that. I was just thinking about a former pastor of ours. He took a new job and we're so sad and we miss him, but he would always say, I just go until I hear no. I'm not going to wait for 15 confirmations to go do something, but I'm not supposed to do it. The Lord's going to stop me from doing it. And so I just go until I hear no, instead, and I was like, that's such a good way to look at it.

Instead of waiting for it to, is that really what God said? Is that really what I'm supposed to do? And that's really honest. Oh, I love that. We're, we have a full circle conversation. That's exactly what happened to Adam and Eve. They said, the serpent said, did God really say that? Did he really say that?

Is that what he said? Because they took their own interpretation of what God said, repeated it back to the serpent who knew what God actually [00:22:00] said. And he was like, did he actually say that? And got them to question like, well, no, actually God didn't, didn't actually say that or whatever it was. And that's how they fell into deception.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah.

Lemon Price: They didn't actually know.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah. We can ask too many questions. We really can. And faith doesn't look like a whole list of questions and weights and balances of whether I should do that or whether I should not. It's trusting that you heard the still small voice. You felt the unction and the push of the Holy Spirit.

And you know what you know when you got that word. We talked about words of prophecy. This is where we're heading into that. That prophetic word, even now, even just spoken that anything you've heard, if it's quickened your inner man, the spirit of God with inside of you bears witness with this word and tells you.

Then that's what you've been looking for all along. And so to keep looking and to keep [00:23:00] questioning or get out the weights and balance sheet of why I should or why I should not is contrary to faith. And again, we go back to without faith, it's impossible to please God. And our ultimate goal is to please God.

So what if you receive a prophetic word? We talked about this before you got on something that's stirring in your heart about a prophetic word. When does it become though that we get so hyper focused on a prophecy maybe spoken over us that then I will say it like this, that our hearts can even become discouraged because hope deferred when we look at something and we think we get so hyper focused on a prophetic word that we can, this is the flip of this, we can get off with that as well. We can get into negativity. We can lose our hope. Our hearts can become downtrodden or distressed or depressed. So talk about what we were talking about before we jumped on here today.

Lemon Price: I love this. I think I've seen this a lot is somebody will take something [00:24:00] prophetic and then make it their identity.

And they say, Oh, this is now my whole personality. This is the thing I am. This is what I do. And not that, and of course, I always say, check something prophetic against scripture, right? God says to test it, make sure it's aligned, but even if it is aligned, right? Even if there's, even if it's completely aligned biblically, they then take that and it becomes their entire being and they start talking about it more than they talk about Jesus.

They focus on it more than they focus on Jesus. And that is where then it becomes like an idol. It's like you took this good thing that God has given you, and kind of like abused it a little bit. And so it's not going to happen the way that, we can't force it. I can't force it. So you have to surrender to who you are, right?

You are not the prophecy and who knows when that's actually going to happen, right? There's no, Marlena didn't give you a timeline on when this is going to happen. You know, any of those things, we don't even know when Jesus is coming [00:25:00] back. So who knows when that prophetic word for you is coming to fruition, but we have to be in relationship first if we actually want to see it come to fruition.

Marlena Hollis: Mm. That's good. And when you said that it's, that's what we talked about before, because we can get that focus so streamlined on that, that we begin to create idolatry out of a space and place, or a specific idea that we think it's supposed to look like. And I believe that's what they did with Jesus because he was prophesied all throughout the Old Testament, all throughout the prophets, the books of the prophet and all of the Pharisees, even the Sadducees as sad as they might be able to not see, they missed him.

They missed him because they had idolized an idea of who they thought and what they thought that he was going to look like. So when he showed up, they missed it because their [00:26:00] imagination and what they built up in idolatry became something that they could not get past to see him right in front of them.

Lemon Price: Yeah, that hits me so hard just thinking about it and like, yeah. How often, and I've heard people be like, Oh, I don't know. I think of the, I don't know if you've ever heard the story where somebody, I like praying to God, to send me $10,000 or whatever, something so like fleshly, but then you have this client who's going to pay you a $1,000, this one's going to pay you $1,500 or whatever it is, and you turn them all down because it didn't show up the way that you expected it to, and how often do we miss out on the blessing and being a blessing to other people because we've idolized something we've decided in our brain, how it should look, how it's going to show up and what the outcome is going to be, that we completely miss it.

Marlena Hollis: That's so good. Yeah. So I just want to encourage you as we're talking this out, if there's something just within you right now, that's just quickening, just even [00:27:00] make that confession to the Lord and just let him know, Hey, God, help me to have clear vision. If there's scales that have been set upon my eyes and I'm missing something, I'm just repenting of missing that and just asking to clear it.

And he will, and give you just a fresh, clear vision. He cleans the windshield a lot better than our own windshield wipers do.

Lemon Price: Yeah.

Marlena Hollis: Really great at coming in and saying, okay, let's look at it this way. Let's give a fresh look at this. This is just a great conversation.

Lemon Price: I love it. We could do this all day.

Marlena Hollis: I know we're just bouncing off and guys, listen, we didn't come with like a stream notes or anything. We're just asking the Holy Spirit to speak into our lives in this moment. And I encourage you to just watch and see how that works in your own life, you just allow Holy Spirit to use you where you are.

If you're at work and you've got people in front of you, God has something to say to them, and oftentimes it's not even your words. It's just you being there and just showing the essence of who he is. So [00:28:00] is there anything else that you just feel compelled to share with the audience or way that they can get in touch with you?

Lemon Price: Yeah, I just want to encourage everybody to think about the last thing that you, that God spoke into your heart, right? What's the thing that God called you to do? And then ask yourself, what have you done with it? Have you turned, do you have a hole digging spirit? Are you going out and taking a step forward?

And you don't have to know like A to Z what the plan is. Somebody said to me a couple of months ago, they said the opposite of faith is clarity. And I was like, Oh, I'm like, I like that. And she would think if you have crystal clear vision, if God laid out, here's everything you're going to do, A to Z, then what do you need him for?

So I want to encourage you to take whatever the next right step is for you today, whatever direction that is. And God will, course correct if it's the wrong, if you're going down a direction he doesn't want you to go down, but I want to encourage you to take the next right step for you, and just see how it impacts others. And share what God's [00:29:00] doing, be vocal about it. You get to glorify Him in that process. So I'm excited to see what people go and do.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah, me too. I have to pop this friend of mine up on here. Pastor Rashad is with us and he's watching from Pakistan today. So yeah, and he, we get to share the gospel with his church and we have some big exciting news coming from him later on at the end of the week.

So we're excited about our partnership with how God lets us reach the world globally. So Lemon, tell us about what is your next? Do you see or feel God just showing you in an area, I know you said you have this book coming out, but is there any other things that God has just really placed in your heart that's stirring right now?

Lemon Price: Yeah, I have been really focused lately and this has been a big thing. God and I got, we've wrestled over this for five years. I'm like the queen of wrestling. So when I say don't delay obedience and all of these things, I'm speaking from experience. And so I thrive on hosting people. I love being involved in my community, all these things, [00:30:00] and because of things, my family's walked through the last couple of years, I haven't done it. And so I didn't feel like myself completely. I'm like, it's like a fraction of me that's been out there. And so for the last couple of weeks, ,I've just been making some beautiful community connections and getting out and serving my community more.

That has nothing to do with business, which is really freeing and exciting for me. And so it's, business is great. And now I really want to just get out and be with people in person and be able to hug somebody in person and make a real impact. So where my focus is right now is just being a really solid, active member of my community and serving in the way for the Lord has me going right now, getting offline a little bit.

Marlena Hollis: That's really good. And I'm making some intentional moves like that too. I had Jasmine who helps me, my virtual assistant, she's so beautiful. And she, I told her, I said, you've got to help me to keep my boundaries. I said, God has just given me you to help me to keep my boundaries because we can really get so [00:31:00] driven sometimes too.

We talked about people who may dig their holes, but there are those of us women that we are bad about not taking enough sabbatical time or taking enough sabbath moments. And so to be intentional about that, if you're extremely driven, it's very important that you find the space. My friend Ellen on here, she's also been my accountability partner and Mickey as well.

Those are two friends that kind of keep me accountable to help me to stay healthy. To not be over doing it. So that's good. So talk a little bit more even about that. Cause you said you were pulling away from maybe social media or being online or whatever. What does that look like when we talk about that?

Lemon Price: Yeah, I love it. Cause I'm a workaholic too. That is something like, cause I love what I do. I love that all I get to do is talk about Jesus and help people step into whatever that next thing is for them. So it's actually really hard for me to pull back a little bit 'cause I'm like, but it is kingdom, right?

Mm-Hmm . [00:32:00] But for me it's, we're moving and so part of what we're doing is I hold my husband specifically. I was like, we need to figure out where we're putting my office outside of the house. I need an office I can walk into and then walk away from, because it's really easy for me to sit in my office when it's in my hallway.

It's super easy for me to come into this room and just pick up work and really being intentional about the time that I'm actually working. And then also really just like getting as involved in my community as I can. So I just joined junior league, which is amazing. It's international. So if anybody's watching, it's a women's organization.

I'm so sorry to our pastor friend in Pakistan. It's only open to women, but they do a ton of work in the community. So their focus is always women and children. We're tutoring and we're, like, I'm getting out and just not doing anything that has work related stuff and leaving my phone places, putting my phone on do not disturb.

And I've had to, I have to set a timer on my phone. So [00:33:00] I love that phones are fancy now. And so I can put it on here that these are my work hours. And so I only get work type notifications during that timeframe. After that, like it's, there's no more of that. So I can be really, a good wife and a good mom and a good community leader and all of these kinds of things that I want to do that exist outside of what I do on social media, so that's where I'm at right now.

Marlena Hollis: Yeah, that's so good. And that is why I know this about you because you do that, and we've been intentional about that. That's why today we can pour out of an abundance because we've spent that time with the Lord and we've shared time in those Sabbath moments with him and those holy places That's a big mantra with Marlena Hollis Ministries is sacred spaces.

We really are intentional about teaching other women how to pull into the sacred space with the Lord, because it's in the secret place that we are filled. It's in the place with the Lord that no one else is there. No one's watching. There's no [00:34:00] audience. There's no ring light or video cameras, but it's that time is where we are filled.

So that Lemon, when we come on here today, God just allows us to pour out from that abundance. And I find, I was asked to minister real quickly this Sunday. I knew I was going to the prison, but I didn't think I was going to be leading the entire thing. And I'm going now to the men's side and I'm going to be preaching Sunday.

Well, I'm also preaching in a conference on Saturday. But I felt the Lord say, don't get anxious about that because out of the abundance of your heart is what the mouth is going to speak. And we use that scripture a lot when it comes to things that we think, you know, bad, we think of it bad, but what about the good?

Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth is going to speak. It's going to speak the good things or it's going to speak the negative. So thank you for sharing just in transparency that you do have to turn that phone off. You do have to say, I'm not going to talk about work when I'm at my kid's school, I'm not recruiting people all the time, I'm there to [00:35:00] savor a moment with my child. Yeah.

Lemon Price: Yeah. It's so important. And I love that you talked about in these secret places and out of the abundance. When I think about this too, cause I always hear, I need to fill my cup up, I need to fill my cup up. But if we're constantly in the secret place, if we're constantly in relationship, like I always think of it like a teacup and saucer and you get filled, right?

And we're constantly filling and pouring. It's like a tea kettle that you're consistently pouring over it. And so people aren't taking from your actual cup, they're drinking from the saucer that you have, where the abundance is pouring out. You're staying filled because you're constantly being poured into by the spirit, right?

You're constantly in relationship. I love that verse, like in Joel, was it Joel 2:28 talks about how God's going to pour his spirit out to his sons and daughters and they're going to prophesy and they're going to do all these things, which is amazing. And I love that. And it's out of the, it's out of the abundance.

It's not because. We're constantly tossing out our teacup and then having to get refilled. It's because we're constantly filling [00:36:00] ourselves up and then people are drinking what's spilling out from the saucer dish.

Marlena Hollis: Oh my gosh, that's amazing. Oh my goodness. You need to come and hang out with us in Lincolnton, Georgia, because I do a message on spilling your tea.

You really need to come and hang out with us. We're going to be there October 4th and 5th. We need to get you in the room.

Lemon Price: Yeah, now listen, I'm going to California a week later, so I actually could be up there.

Marlena Hollis: Oh yeah. You could still be in, in the region. Okay. Let's maybe get a conversation about that afterwards. I'd love to have you come in and be in the room with us. It's going to be a powerful time just in the presence of the Lord.

Well, I have enjoyed this so much. I want to let you guys know that at the end of our live stream, I'm going to have, Lemon is going to put some of her contact information. I want you guys to just go follow her, get into listening to the podcast.

It's very powerful nuggets that she shares every day. You can jump in and I don't know how often do you post on that? I want to be accurate in my information.

Lemon Price: The podcast comes out once a week, which is [00:37:00] crazy. It's scheduled, the guests that are coming on, coming up, you're going to be very excited for when your episode comes out because of the amount of eyeballs that I anticipate being on the podcast in this time frame.

It's cool. It's really, it's beautiful. It's beautiful. I love, I just love the work that we're doing over there. It blossomed into something I never thought it would be. So every Monday at 6 a. m. Eastern time that comes out.

Marlena Hollis: That's good. You guys go subscribe, you'll get the notification and start your Monday off.

I've got to get so much better about getting mine uploaded. That's something Jasmine and I are like, that's on the back burner for now. We'll hang out with that subject in a minute because we love to get in front of people live because that's my pastoral nature, I love to be able to bring people on like yourself and share with this audience.

And I will just say this, Lemon, honestly, I have a lot of guests that I've been able to have on here and really you've just been such a delight. And this message I feel is just overflowing with just joy. I think that it's just [00:38:00] really, what's the word? It's contagious. I think it's so contagious, just everything that's been shared.

I love it. And I'm so appreciative that God just met, we met online guys, we've not been in the same room, physically, but this is what God will do when you just say, you know what, I'm open to the unusual. I'm open to the not ordinary way that we get into these small town in these mindsets that can, it's limiting.

And God said, let's just hook these two up and let them bring a word out today. It's such a good thing.

Lemon Price: I love it. Friend, I just love and adore you so much and I just, every time you talk, every time you pray, I get goosebumps. I'm like, Oh, I just love her. I just want to hug you in person so badly. Sometimes I think this is what Jesus meant the first I think I always have the hardest time with is Jesus saying greater works than these, you'll do.

And I'm like, there's no way. How am I going to do greater works than Jesus? And sometimes I truly think it's the invention of podcasts, the internet, social media, like all of it. Could you [00:39:00] imagine if Jesus had the podcast and every Monday he was just like streaming and sharing the way to be able to reach people in a different way.

And so I think sometimes this is maybe what Jesus was, he knew, right? He knew this was coming and what was going to happen. And it's just so beautiful the way that believers can connect all over the globe and share what God's doing in them. And we can share ideas and push back. It's just so beautiful.

It's incredible and I love that I have the opportunity to do that with you and that you just bring people on to do that. I just think it's beautiful work that you do my friend.

Marlena Hollis: I appreciate you. Can you guys just give her some major love in the comment section? Like for real, we got to do this again.

Like we need to make sure that this is something we get you back in here even before the end of the year if you've got time. I know we're both running different ways. I'm going to take some intentional time though towards the end of the year. So again, important. Would you please just pray for our audience before we say goodbye today?

Lemon Price: Yes, I would love to I would love to. Our [00:40:00] dear heavenly father We are just so grateful for the opportunity to gather here today. Lord, we're so grateful for just Marlena and the way that you have poured your spirit out onto her and the platform that you've given her. The way that she is able to connect with people, the ministry work that she is doing, Lord I just bless in her prayer or blessing for every conversation that she has that she may be a mouthpiece to you.

And Lord, I pray for everyone who is watching today that they may take a hole digging spirit that maybe they have, and get rid of it. I just pray that it's gone. That doesn't burden them anymore and that they take the gifts and talents that you've given them and then go out and glorify you that they get off that starting block that Marlena talked about when they really go out and glorify you in the work that you have called them to do.

Because Lord, we know that every person watching is called and there is somebody that they are supposed to serve. They are anointed to serve certain people. In a very specific way. And there are people praying for them to get off the starting block because they need what it is that you have given them.

And so Lord, I just pray for them. [00:41:00] I pray that you give them the courage to go out and do that. And we say all these things in your son's heavenly name. Amen.

Marlena Hollis: Yes. Amen. Amen. All right, guys, we're going to sound off and say, see you later. I said, goodbye, but we're not going to be doing goodbyes. We're going to say, see you later because we're going to hang out again with Lemon.

And of course you guys know, be watching because we will be live again on Marlena Teach Jesus. So we love you and we will catch you next time.
